Phu Quoc Island- Gem we Found while Traveling in Vietnam

As we travel through Vietnam, visiting Phu Quoc Island has been on the list IF we have enough time and at the end of our time here in this beautiful country. The Universe had other plans and we changed our plans to go search for the sun and beach since the weather was so cold for us to explore Northern Vietnam. We literally bought tickets a day before our travel to fly from Hanoi to Phu Quoc (we bough them with VietJet airlines as they offered amazing price for a 2 hour flight to his beautiful Island including checked in baggage- you can explore their website here- VIETJET AIR). And I have to say – we were pleasantly surprised and originally wanting to spend 5-6 days here – we extended our stay to 2.5 weeks as we explore this beautiful island.

   • Temperatures during this period range from around 25°C to 32°C (77°F to 90°F), with relatively low humidity.
   • The sea is generally calm and clear, making it ideal for water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and diving.
   • This season is considered the best time to visit Phu Quoc for beach holidays and outdoor activities.
2. Rainy Season (May to October):
   • The rainy season in Phu Quoc is influenced by the southwest monsoon, bringing frequent rainfall and occasional thunderstorms.

We were very surprised that it has little to no humidity as it is situated in the middle of the Ocean.

We met a lot of families, retired folks that spend their winters here. And all of them said the same thing – they love the energy, vibe and natural beauty here on the Island as well as many things that the island has to offer- may it be water sports and activities, water or theme parks, bars or restaurants and night markets, street food, local markets, local villages, jungle, beautiful beaches.
